My name is Amelie (Since non-French-speaking people usually can’t end up pronouncing that, you can just say “Ah-muh-lee”). I love writing, reading, and creating things, as well as showing off my style and talking endlessly about my awful sense of humor and horse-back riding. These things all helped me start my blog, The Neon Guava. In my opinion, the most important thing is to work hard (I grew up learning that “no pain equals no gain”), and make a difference (don’t ask me about my plans for making differences in the human world, because so far, I can’t really think of any. In the animal world, however, I plan to be an extreme supporter of horsey-rights).
I play exactly two sports: horse-back riding and volleyball. The sad truth is, I’m scared of balls other than volleyballs. You would be, too, if you saw your best friend get slammed on by a basketball and then come out with an enormous gash. I’m actually being serious. For once.
Another thing you might want to know about me is that I am not very adventurous. I like to do the same things over and over again (don’t get me started on how many times I’ve listened to the same que of songs on repeat), and I’m EXTREMELY picky about what I eat. Also, I think flowers are extremely pretty.
Ooh- before I forget! I have a dog, whose name is Caline. She is absolutely the sweetest thing ever and is about to turn five whole years old. What a grandma.
